3. Load a Model

When loading the model in NaxTo, there are several options available:

Import->

• Import Models and Results: Loads the model and results simultaneously using binary output files such as *.op2, *.xdb, *.hdf5, *.h3d, *.odb, *. rst (see Figure 1).

• Import Model: Allows only the model mesh to be imported. Available for Abaqus or Nastran formats.

• Import Results: This option imports the results for a previously loaded model in HDF5 format. For more information about this option, see Section 10.Specification of the HDF5 File Format

• Import Geometry: Allows importing only the model’s geometry.

Import Recent Files->

This feature is particularly useful as it facilitates the import of the most recently used models, optimizing the process of loading and accessing regular projects.
